Review
"Would you still love me even if I looked like this?"
"Yes."
Like all couples, they argue and they make up. And they love and they love and they love and they love. Thorughout the book, there was this powerful energy washing over me, a feeling that I cannot express with known words, In the pages I could feel love--their love.
He hugs her when she's hurting, over fictional stories or real life. He is with her through all of it. They live, they love and they laugh together. They are two organsims living and loving as one.
He reads to her when she's tired, she reads to him while his head is in her lap.
Another thing that I really enjoyed was the different art styles and materials used to illustrate this book. There were charcoal drawings, messily drawn (and still wonderful) pencil and marker drawings. There was even one made from Q-Tips!
Overall, I really enjoyed "Us" by Curtis Wiklund. I give it four out of five stars and I hope I get to read and review many more of his works for years to come!
